As Bright as code is With Codeing and such His omputer skills are lacking.
I had asked him a while back when he first asked about a noise his computer was makeing For him to go buy a new fan befor it went out.his reply was that he had no money not even 15 dollars for a new fan.
his proc is a athlon duron socket A.
I dont have any spares of that kind but if someone does and feel nice enough to want to send it to him I have his address.

yea, decode just graduated from high school and I don't think he has a job. Well, I got a socket A chip and a cooling fan for it, or just a cooling fan. Is that what he needs?

Thats cool... as long as you can provide the customer support.  Lets keep this a secret... but the first time I had to put on a cpu fan I freaked and damn near broke the entire mobo! LOL Hope Code doesn't do the same! Oh and DA.. if you send the fan you might want to include some thermal paste. I'm guessing that he doesn't have any. I'll be willing to chip in on the cost if you'd like.

thx for the fan DA, and yea I didn't have money at the time and I did go get one today since my bro got back from Canada, but sadly my processor did fry and the mobo shorted out, so hopefully it will be fixed soon

You'd have to buy a new mobo... new cpu... you'd want new RAM because what you have probably isn't the latest and greatest... new vid card I'm sure... possibly a new case and power supply. I'd say you could do it for $700-800 assuming you can still use your old monitor.
